Field guide No. 680
Jellyfish beneath a stretched ice dome
Needed the headroom.
Under a frozen sea a large pale jellyfish drifts with its tentacles trailing, and the ice above it has stretched up into a dome to fit its bell. The ice looks as if it minded.
Field noteSea ice cracks when pushed. Over this jellyfish it has stretched like cling film and held.

Geese walking up a waterfallWalking up falling water needs grip water doesn’t offer. The geese manage anyway.
Snowfall from a jungle radiatorRadiators heat. This one snows, in a palm house of all places, and the drift is knee deep.
An endless orange peelA single strip of peel passes through three shrinking oranges. Each fruit is smaller than its argument.
