Field guide No. 366
Geese walking up a waterfall
Upstream, on foot.
A line of white geese walks calmly up the face of a roaring waterfall in a misty pine gorge. They are not in a hurry, and the water has stopped arguing.
Field noteWalking up falling water needs grip water doesn’t offer. The geese manage anyway.
Also possible, also breaking physics
Room for the windCloth takes the shape the wind gives it. An elephant is an unusually specific gust.
Sardines above the drained poolFish breathing air is a biology problem. The pool, at least, is accurately empty.
Dust ripples in the bell foundrySound can make dust dance on a plate. A silent bell setting the floor rippling is less convincing.
Seasonal twistSnow on the peaks and blossom in the valley happen in any alpine May. The hovering pretzel does not.
