Field guide No. 672
Impossible pawprints in turquoise ice
Something walked over the ceiling.
In a turquoise ice cave, a trail of enormous pawprints runs across the ceiling, pressed into the ice as if something walked over it upside down. The cave is empty, which is the worrying part.
Field notePawprints this big would need an animal as big as a bus, walking on the ice from the far side.
Also possible, also breaking scale
Light dessertLift enough balloons and anything goes up, jelly included. The wobble is a bonus.
A minor adjustmentRead charitably, a stone ball and a good caliper. Read literally, a moon somebody shrank to fit the vice.
Giant golden hinge in the faultBrass hinges are fitted by people with drills. Fitting one this tall would need a ladder of a size no one makes.
Brass trumpet, endless black absenceTrumpet bell feeds a drainpipe-thick black tube that runs off down the platform.
