Field guide No. 664
Giant golden hinge in the fault
The mountain opens on Thursdays.
A green mountain ridge above a loch is split clean in two, and a brass hinge as tall as the cliff runs up the crack holding the halves together. The rest of the door is presumably the hill.
Field noteBrass hinges are fitted by people with drills. Fitting one this tall would need a ladder of a size no one makes.
Also possible, also breaking scale
Giant dandelion through the barn doorA seed head taller than the doorway stands in it, which is large rather than contradictory.
Fortune favors the roadPaper can be printed and laid as a ribbon. Tarmac would hold up better.
The biscuit planetariumPlanetariums project the galaxies, so they fit anywhere. Even a biscuit, with careful crumbs.
Raincloud in a greenhouse hammockClouds drift in the sky. This one is lying in a knitted hammock, drizzling on the tiles.
