Field guide No. 1169
Raised footprints in the sand
Someone left the walking behind.
Footprints stand up from damp sand as raised casts, toes and all, crowding a beach in low light. The tide was asked to take them away and has not been in touch.
Field noteFootprints rise from the sand as casts. The tide is meant to subtract, not sculpt.
Also possible, also breaking physics
Private weatherSmall sparks are allowed; static manages them daily. Inside a snail shell they are merely misplaced.
Invisible whale in the blizzardWhales swim in water and show themselves. This one swims in snow and only the flakes show it.
Bowling lane turns verticalBowling lanes bend up the wall. The next frame requires a ladder.
The splash before impactThe crown rises before the drop lands. Effects ahead of causes are bad physics, not a bad picture.
