Field guide No. 629
Boar through a giant tusk hoop
Its own hoop, apparently.
A wild boar charges through a muddy field, and its tusk has grown into a huge ivory ring that it is running through. Circus training has never been so self-sufficient.
Field noteTusks curl, but not this far. This one has come all the way round into a hoop the boar can run through.
Also possible, also breaking scale
Sleeping hedgehog in the quarryCurled up exactly like any hedgehog, only the size of the pit it sleeps in.
Dry season beneath the seaA dusty landscape sits inside a translucent jellyfish. The weather has been reduced to a drifting forecast.
Endless onion layers on steelOnion layers are nested shells, not a hose, yet each bulb here extrudes one across the counter.
Wing gardensWings bear patterns and pagodas are small enough as bonsai. Flying the result is the dragonfly’s affair.
