Field guide No. 178
All the hours at once
Every season, same tree.
A lone tree on a plain is in blossom on one side, green in the middle and orange with autumn on the other, with a dusting of snow at its foot.
Field noteTrees can bloom and turn unevenly; snow can come early. All of it on one tree is merely bad timing.
Also possible, also breaking physics
Between floorsA stair can be built in a loop; walking it is the problem. Engineers would allow it, feet would not.
Overtime for the oceanFans make wind and wind makes waves. Neat rows to the horizon is the overtime physics won’t pay.
The weight of SundayEars long enough to cross the floor are breeding gone too far. Basset owners won’t be surprised.
Seasonal twistSnow on the peaks and blossom in the valley happen in any alpine May. The hovering pretzel does not.
