Yellow stripes over a violet cloud
Lane discipline, airborne.
On a red running track, the yellow lane lines lift off the surface and run up and over a low violet cloud sitting on the bend. Runners will have to go over.
Field noteLane lines are paint on a track and have no other surface. These carry on over cloud as if it were ground.

A leash tied to the horizonLeads tie to posts and hands. The horizon is neither, and it backs away as you walk toward it.
Sweeping the grain awayGrain is the wood, not something on it. Sweeping it into a pile leaves boards that are somehow still boards.
Pigeon escapes a printed photographA live pigeon stands outside the photograph it has torn through. The picture has lost its subject.
Sleeping dog with fallen spotsSpots are a pattern in fur, yet here they lie on the ground as loose things that left pale gaps.
