Field guide No. 411
Underwater eel illuminates abandoned bulbs
Wired, wet, working.
In a sunken storeroom, a long eel glides over a heap of old light bulbs and every bulb it touches lights up warm yellow. The electricity bill is now a fish.
Field noteSome eels carry a charge. Lighting bulbs with no circuit, underwater, is another level.
Also possible, also breaking physics
An inconvenient angleBaths can be mounted on walls. The water staying in is what the plumbers dispute.
Roots above, apples belowTrees could grow upside down if gravity agreed. It doesn’t; logic doesn’t mind.
Three carts under private stormsWeather that follows one trolley around is very local, though nothing about it contradicts.
The cloud cobblerClouds are water and tacks are brass. Brass does not hold water vapour, however neatly driven.
