Stone laughter across cracked salt
The flats find it hilarious
A cracked red salt flat is pocked with hundreds of little open mouths, each with stone teeth, all gaping at the sky. The ground is either laughing or very hungry.
Field noteMouths with tiny stone teeth gape from every salt crust plate, a whole plain caught mid-laugh.
