Field guide No. 691
Night moth with sky filled holes
Mostly night, partly sunny.
A brown moth rests on a pale wall in the dark, and the ragged holes in its wings show a bright blue daytime sky with clouds in it. Something else has been eating moths, and found the day inside.
Field noteHoles should show the wall behind. These open onto a sunny day, while the moth sits in the night.

Impossible reflections in a tidal poolA reflection is an image of its rock. These three show different shells and stars instead.

Wheelbarrow's unexpected sailboat reflectionA reflection that shows something else is not, by definition, its reflection. And yet it is.
