Field guide No. 461
Muddy footprints through the skylight
Someone left by the ceiling.
In a derelict concrete building, muddy footprints walk across the ceiling to a hole in the roof, then carry on as small white cloud prints across the blue sky. Whoever it was didn’t take the stairs.
Field noteFootprints belong on floors. These cross the ceiling and keep walking on sky.
Also possible, also breaking physics
Soft landingDandelion seeds fly well, up to a few milligrams. Cabins sit outside the specification.
Cutlery at low tideForks do drip. Four steady streams with no source is where hydraulics walks out.
Dust ripples in the bell foundrySound can make dust dance on a plate. A silent bell setting the floor rippling is less convincing.
Self-suspended tree in a sinkholeA tree over a sinkhole either holds on or falls in. This one does neither, with nothing to grip.
