Field guide No. 674
Impossible white stair loop
Goes nowhere, both ways.
A white stone staircase climbs, curls over at the top and comes back down underneath itself in a single loop, standing alone in a blue room. It is excellent exercise and no help at all.
Field noteEvery step on this loop is going up, including the ones on the way down.

Shadow waterfall on dry limestoneA shadow needs something in the light. This one falls down the cliff with nothing there to cast it.
The sideways forest meetingTrees grow away from the ground they stand in. These stand in a wall and grow level, as if down were east.
Lightning frozen in amberAmber holds a lightning bolt mid-fork, still lit after the resin set.
