Field guide No. 345
Cherry-filled vintage hole punch
Punches holes, collects cherries.
An old red hole punch has its chip tray pulled open, and it is full of glossy cherries instead of paper dots, with more rolling across the desk. The holes in the paper are still the usual size.
Field notePunched paper makes paper dots. Cherries in the tray are a punch with a fruit sideline.
Also possible, also breaking category
Field notesTerraces are carved hillsides; pages are carved trees. Read generously, it is a sculpture of a farm.
Pea tendril holds the lineCoiled cord and pea tendril were always the same shape. One merely started growing.
Wrong side of the hemA needle trailing safety pins is the wrong tool for the job, not a contradiction.
The raven’s spoon graveyardPlates and spoons are tableware, not memorials. A cemetery for them is a category slip.
