Apple shadow devours the wooden table
A bite mark with good aim.
A red apple rests on a wooden table whose shadow has eaten a ragged hole through the boards. The fruit has no such appetite.
Field noteApple shadows can only darken a surface. This one seems to have taken the boards with it; physics, not logic.
