Field guide No. 419
A broom blossoms on concrete
Sweeping, then sprouting.
A push broom on a concrete path has rooted and flowered, dandelions growing out of its head and all along the line it swept. It left the job half done and the path half meadow.
Field noteBrooms are for removing weeds. This one has been planting them, in a neat line, for a while.
