Field guide No. 257
Where asphalt unravels into wool
The road has dropped a stitch.
A straight road across dry grassland comes apart in the foreground into loose black yarn, its yellow centre lines unravelling into mustard wool. Knit one, drive two.
Field noteTarmac is not knitted, and that is the only rule broken. Roads do fray; just not like this.
Also possible, also breaking material
Clean livingSoap can be cast in blocks and blocks can be stacked. Rain would file the objection.
Foxfire lodgeGlassblowers make foxes and modellers make cabins. Here they have collaborated, and lit it.
Hush moneyPurses hold coin; this one holds velvet. Odd currency, perfectly constructible.
Still water in a vintage carriageSeats of standing water require water that stands. Physics declines; logic shrugs.
