Field guide No. 1396
Tiny hoofprints, distant deer
Someone has been walking on the rock
A large lichen-covered boulder on a moor is covered in tiny deer hoofprints, while a single deer watches from the grass behind. Either a herd of very small deer passed over, or one deer took a very long walk.
Field noteHoofprints the size of fingernails pock a lichened boulder while one full-size deer watches from afar.
Also possible, also breaking scale
The bell pepper operaPeppers are hollow and already have tiers of a sort. Opera houses are the same shape, with tickets.
A bedroom wrapped in cottonFitted sheets stop at the mattress. This one carries on up the walls, so the whole room is made.
Giant cicada shell emergingA large cicada shell clings to reeds above dark water. The night shift left its uniform.
Right of pastryGates are arches and arches can be any shape. A baked one would just need varnish.
