Field guide No. 720
Sleeping clouded leopard fills pool
Pool closed for the season.
Seen from above, a clouded leopard sleeps curled up in a kidney-shaped swimming pool, filling it from the steps to the deep end. The ladder is no longer needed.
Field noteClouded leopards are smaller than pools as a rule. This one was made to measure and is out cold.
Also possible, also breaking scale
DetourStone cats can be carved at any size. This one just needed a longer coast and a quieter council.
Sunday at the staplerPools are rectangles with a ladder, and so, roughly, is a stapler. Lane rules still apply.
Giant empty cicada shell on spillwayCicada shells are thumb-sized. One the size of a car means something car-sized has hatched.
The thread thin cedarA cedar narrows to a thread-thin point above the forest floor. The tree has made a careful exit.
