Field guide No. 064
Sew many stars
Open late, lit from within.
A giant golden thimble stands in a field of blue flowers at dusk, every hole glowing like a window. Someone is home.
Field notePerforated domes make serviceable cottages. The thimble is just a strict architect.
Also possible, also breaking scale
A minor adjustmentRead charitably, a stone ball and a good caliper. Read literally, a moon somebody shrank to fit the vice.
Safety in numbersA safety pin is a bent wire and a clasp. Enlarged, it is still just that, in a lake.
Unwinding upwardSpiral walkways exist. Shaping one like a corkscrew is a matter of nerve and steel.
Pearl transitStations go in odd places, including shells if the shell is big enough. This one is.
