Horizontal rain between twin clouds
Rain, crossing over.
Over a white salt flat, two clouds face each other across a blue sky and rain falls sideways from one into the other. Neither cloud is getting any smaller.

Also possible, also breaking physics
Birches rooted in the cloudsTrees reach for light and root in soil. These have it the other way round and seem fine.
Prickly pear threaded with miniature lightningLightning this small should not stay put. These bolts hang from the spines like lights on a hedge.
Tiny storms in the cotton fieldGrey clouds rise from cotton plants. The crop has weathered the forecast.
Suspended lentil wallLentils pour from a sack and stack into a flat vertical sheet in midair, stopped at an unseen plane.
