Geese beneath their floating feathers
Flying on, a bit lighter.
Five grey geese fly in a loose line under an overcast sky, and above them hangs a drifting cloud of their own loose feathers, keeping pace. They seem to be managing without.
Field noteBirds moult, and the feathers fall. These hover above the flock and follow it south.
Also possible, also breaking physics

The upright coffee spillCoffee from a toppled mug stands up off the diner counter in a thin upright sheet, edges still dripping.
Candlelit stag in rainy forestCandle flames go out in the rain. These antlers keep theirs lit regardless.
