Field guide No. 650
Empty boots, self forming footprints
Gone for a walk without them.
Two empty red wellies stand at the edge of a muddy field, and away from them fresh footprints are pressing themselves into the mud, the newest one still splashing. The boots seem to have been left behind.
Field noteFootprints come after feet. These are being pressed into the mud by nobody, walking off from a pair of empty boots.
Also possible, also breaking physics
Stone rain birthing cloudsStone can fall and dust can rise. The clouds are forming at the end of each drop.
Kite tethering the skyThe kite lies crumpled while its string holds a billowing bag of cloud; the sky has been taken for a walk.
Upward rain over rooftop towelsWet towels give water to the air anyway; here it just leaves in visible columns, aimed at one cloud.
Liquid cat through the mail slotCats are said to be liquid. This one has proved it through a letterbox.
