Elongated dryer drums in a shabby laundromat
The long-cycle setting
In a shabby green laundromat, the drums of the dryers stick out of their machines as long steel tubes across the floor. A full load would take a week.
Field noteDryer drums stop at the machine’s back panel; these run out across the floor like pipeline.
Also possible, also breaking scale
Stone fruit recursionA peach reveals smaller pits nested inside its own. It saved the best seed for last.
Pear and breakfastNovelty buildings have been fruit before. The rain gives it a convincing bloom.
The crayon breakwaterCrayons could be cast this big and stood in the surf. The tide would have notes.
Floating birch beneath a giant dandelionDandelion seeds carry seeds. This one has a whole birch hanging under it, roots and all.
