Field guide No. 442
Dry sand rain over reeds
Light showers of sand.
Over a reed marsh, a curtain of falling sand pours down like rain and heaps up in drifts between the green reeds. The marsh is unsure whether to be wet or dry.
Field noteRain is water, which is why marshes like it. Sand only falls out of sandstorms, and never as a downpour.
Also possible, also breaking physics
The seam in the seaCord could, in principle, be laced through water. The water would decline to stay shut.
Wandering crosswalk stripesPaint leaving the road is an adhesion failure with initiative. Nothing in it contradicts itself.
Underwater eel illuminates abandoned bulbsSome eels carry a charge. Lighting bulbs with no circuit, underwater, is another level.
Hourglass aging light into ironLight leaves an hourglass as light. This beam comes out the far side as a rusted iron bar.
