Field guide No. 255
Washed zebra stripes on terrazzo
Delicate cycle, apparently.
A long length of zebra hide spills out of a mint-green washing machine across a terrazzo laundrette floor. The stripes held their colour.
Field noteZebra hide exists, washers exist, terrazzo exists. The laundry ticket simply doesn’t.
Also possible, also breaking nothing
Afternoon, somewhereA chair, some arches and a flooded floor. Architects have done stranger things on purpose.
Custard cathedralMoulded puddings in architectural shapes are an old banquet trick. Lighting one is the only liberty.
Please remain seatedCacti sit in pots on chairs all the time. Waiting rooms just rarely admit it.
Antique plane shaving blue iceIce planes rather well, ask any sculptor. The joinery is cold, not impossible.
