Field guide No. 489
Two realities interlock in one apartment
Shared accommodation.
An empty old apartment is split by a jagged seam into two rooms at once, cream walls and square doorways on one side, green walls and arches on the other, with the floor and a radiator spliced down the line. Neither landlord has noticed.
Field noteOne room is two different rooms along a crack, and the radiator on the line belongs to both.

The rain remembersReflections show what is above them. One puddle reporting noon at midnight is lying, which reflections can’t.
The other argumentA reflection that does something else is not a reflection of the people in front of it.
Wrong exit through the pool floorBelow a pool floor is earth. Sky down there means the ground is above itself.
Snow with a molten coreLava melts snow on contact. Here they share a ball and each stays exactly what it is.
