Field guide No. 468
Return to sender: upward rain
Water, going back up.
Under a broad red leaf over a dark pond, drops of water lift off the surface and fly up toward the leaf. The rain is being sent back.
Field noteRain falls once and stays fallen. These drops leave the pond again and head back to the leaf.
Also possible, also breaking physics
Wandering crosswalk stripesPaint leaving the road is an adhesion failure with initiative. Nothing in it contradicts itself.
Underwater eel illuminates abandoned bulbsSome eels carry a charge. Lighting bulbs with no circuit, underwater, is another level.
Hourglass aging light into ironLight leaves an hourglass as light. This beam comes out the far side as a rusted iron bar.
A fold in the afternoonWater does not peel. Logic has no view on it; fluids have a firm one.
