Field guide No. 1589
Mouthful
The bite kept its shape
A ripe pear on a green plate has one bite taken out, and the missing piece sits beside it as clear glass. The bite was put back on the plate, just not as pear.
Field noteBitten chunk sits beside its pear turned to clear glass, still beaded with juice.
Also possible, also breaking material

Waterwheel defying the droughtPaddles on the mill wheel each cradle a solid chunk of clear water though the stone race is bone dry.
Foxfire lodgeGlassblowers make foxes and modellers make cabins. Here they have collaborated, and lit it.
