Field guide No. 1129
Inverted waterfall loop
Water takes the long way round.
A thick arch of white water rises from one pit in a black rock plain, bends overhead and drops into another pit under a heavy grey sky. It has a closed budget and spends it forever.
Field noteWater rises from one pit, arcs overhead and falls into another; a closed loop, a fine plumbing diagram.
Also possible, also breaking physics
Speckled egg and orbiting nestAn egg and nest can float together if the twigs are tied. Orbit is the extra part.
Kite tethering the skyThe kite lies crumpled while its string holds a billowing bag of cloud; the sky has been taken for a walk.
Upward rain over rooftop towelsWet towels give water to the air anyway; here it just leaves in visible columns, aimed at one cloud.
Liquid cat through the mail slotCats are said to be liquid. This one has proved it through a letterbox.
